1. Are the font sizes correct?
Yes I think the font sizes are correct for the magazine as the masthead has the biggest font size to make it stand out more and the cover-lines are just a bit smaller than the masthead to make sure they still stand out but not as much as the title. Also it includes the date and issue number on it very small like official magazines have.
2. Does it follow the three colour rule?
I think it mostly follows the three colour rule except my cover page and contents page use different shades of blue and purple as i couldnt find the matching colour on the different pieces of software that i used which is a shame.
3. Can you tell that the contents page and the cover page are from the same magazine?
Yes I think you can tell they are from the same magazine because I've used the same font for the masthead on each of them. Also I have put the title of the magazine on both pages. Lastly the coverlines are very similar to what the contents page says is included it's just worded a bit differently.
4. Are the photographs well taken and appropriate?
I think the photos are alright for the magazine because the cover photo is a medium close-up which is clear however I think the two on the contents page could have been a bit better but they also show what college life is like which makes them suitable for the magazine as the audience is students.
5. Are there enough stories on the cover and the contents page and are they appropriate?
I think that the cover page has enough coverlines on as there isn't much space for anymore, however I think that the contents page needs more stories on it as there are lots of gaps that could be used to fill with more stories.
